Privacy Policy

How Vikas Editor handles account details, uploaded photos, prompts, generated files and privacy requests.

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Vikas Editor at vikaseditor.pro. For privacy questions or requests, email yzshi123@gmail.com. Vikas Editor is an independent photo and short-video tool, not an official service of Editing by Vikas.

Information used to provide the service

  • Account details: your name, email, profile image, sign-in records and session information. If you choose an available Google or GitHub sign-in option, we receive the account details needed to sign you in.
  • Creation requests: the photo you submit, your prompt, style and output settings. Our task history records prompts, task and provider request identifiers, status, timestamps, credit charges and generated-file links. Avoid putting confidential information into prompts.
  • Purchases and credits: order identifiers, payment status, amounts, currency, payment-provider references, and credit grants and usage. The payment provider handles payment credentials; our application does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
  • Support and operation: messages and attachments you choose to send, along with technical information needed to investigate errors or abuse. Hosting and payment providers may keep their own security and transaction logs.

We use this information to sign you in, carry out your requests, deliver files, manage credits and payments, provide support, and prevent misuse. Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on providing the service you request, legitimate security and operational interests, legal obligations, or consent for optional activities.

What happens to photos and AI outputs

When you submit a generation, the reference photo and prompt are transmitted to Fal and the model providers used by that endpoint. This happens only after you submit the request. See Fal's privacy policy.

The editor does not store the uploaded source photo in its task database or create a public source-photo upload URL. This does not mean that third-party processing is local or immediately erased. Fal and model providers have their own retention and processing terms; we do not promise deletion from their systems or make a blanket claim about their training practices.

Generated files are delivered through provider-hosted links. Our preview and download endpoints check task ownership, but a provider URL may be accessible to anyone who obtains it. Do not share sensitive links. Links can expire: download files you wish to keep. The editor is not a permanent file-storage service.

Removing a completed item hides it from your history and clears its result link in our application record. It does not erase all task or billing records, and it does not delete provider-held files. Recent history shows up to 20 items; this display limit is not a data-retention deadline.

Cookies, preferences and optional services

We use cookies or local storage for sign-in sessions, language, appearance and your privacy choice. If optional analytics, advertising or chat services are configured, the site asks for a choice before loading those integrations. Use Cookie Settings in the footer, when available, to change your choice. Rejecting optional services does not prevent you from using the editor.

When you consent, first-touch referral and campaign information may be kept in first-party cookies for up to 30 days and associated with an account created from that visit. A consent-choice cookie can last up to one year. Browser settings can clear cookies and local storage; clearing a session signs you out. These settings do not delete server-side records. Technical session and security processing remains necessary to operate an account.

Who receives information

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared as needed with hosting and database services, Fal and its model providers, the payment provider you use, and configured email or support services. Messages sent to our Gmail contact are processed by that email service. Optional integrations may process information under their own policies when enabled and accepted. Providers may process information outside your country.

We may also retain or disclose records when legally required, to investigate fraud, or to protect users and the service. We use access controls and transport security, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention, access and deletion requests

We retain account and task records while needed to operate your account and handle support or disputes. Transaction, credit and security records may need to remain longer for accounting, fraud prevention or legal requirements. We do not promise an automatic deletion period that the system does not implement. Provider file expiry and backup retention are separate from application history removal.

You can update your profile and remove completed history items in the product. For a copy of your personal data, correction, account closure, deletion, or a privacy concern, email yzshi123@gmail.com from your account address. These are currently requests handled through support, not self-service export or delete-account buttons. We may verify account ownership and explain records that cannot yet be removed. Do not send a password, API key, full card number or unnecessary photo as proof of identity.

Depending on your location, applicable law may provide additional rights, including objection, restriction, consent withdrawal, or a complaint to a data-protection authority. Closing an account does not itself cancel a payment or settle unused paid credits; include any related order issue in your request.

Children and policy changes

The service is intended for adults who can agree to the Terms of Service. Do not submit a child's image unless you have the required permission and a lawful purpose. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information improperly.

We will update the date above when this policy changes and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. The Terms of Service explain generation limits, credit charges and refunds.
